Kasoa Stake

Since its establishment, the Ghana Kasoa Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has experienced significant growth and development. Initially organized as the Accra Ghana McCarthy Hill Stake in 2007, it was later renamed the Ghana Kasoa Stake.

From its modest beginnings, the stake has expanded to encompass over 3,100 members across nine wards within 20 years. This remarkable growth is attributed to the dedication and efforts of early pioneers who were instrumental in establishing the Church in the Kasoa area. In recognition of their contributions, these founding members were honored as Church Pioneers during a unique program held at the Ghana Kasoa Stake Centre on September 22, 2024.

The stake has also been proactive in fostering interfaith and community relations. On May 5, 2024, the Ghana Kasoa Stake hosted a conference with the theme “Making Our Homes Celestial: The role of every family member,” which welcomed interfaith, community, and traditional leaders. This event underscored the stake's commitment to promoting family values and strengthening community ties.

Through continued dedication to spiritual growth and community engagement, the Ghana Kasoa Stake exemplifies the enduring impact of faith and collective effort in building a thriving religious community.
